| Visiting the website | When you visit, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data such as IP address, time and page requested, to deliver the website and protect it from misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The hosting provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. The website is delivered through Cloudflare's worldwide server network, usually from the data centre closest to you. Technical logs are kept for no more than 7 days and then deleted. We have a data processing agreement with Cloudflare under Art. 28 GDPR. |
| Cookies and third parties | This website sets no cookies, uses no tracking and loads no fonts, scripts or media from third parties. |
| Forms | When you send a form, we store only what you enter: name, email, phone (optional), town, school level or organisation, and your message. We use it to handle your request and, if you are interested in the programme, to contact you about it. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time for the future, and steps before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not ask for health data and we do not accept file uploads. |
| How long we keep data | Form details are deleted automatically after 183 days (about six months) unless a training or other contract follows. |
| Recipients | Your details are stored in the website database at Cloudflare, in data centres in Western Europe. An email alert through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, Paris) only says that a new request has arrived and contains no personal data from the form. Requests are handled by Birgit M. Schwinn. We have data processing agreements with Cloudflare and Brevo under Art. 28 GDPR. |
| Transfers outside the EU | Cloudflare is a company based in the USA, so data may be processed in the USA or other countries outside the EU. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). In addition, the data processing agreement includes the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). Brevo processes data in the EU. |
| Your rights | You have the right to access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability and objection, and to withdraw consent. To use them, write to info@welwitschia-care.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority, in particular in the EU member state where you live, where you work or where the alleged breach took place (Art. 77 GDPR). |
